Dublin airport is only 17mins or 13kms away with buses stopping nearby at North Wall Quay.
The closest car park to the hotel is the Convention Centre Dublin’s ESPA Gold award underground car park, managed by Euro Car Parks. It has 320 spaces, eight disabled spaces, two electric vehicle charging points and a height limit of 2.1m. It operates from 7.00am to midnight, 7 days a week.
Parking rates are €3.80 per hour or €25 per day, with an evening rate of €14 from 6.00pm to midnight and an overnight rate of €16 from 6.00pm to 9.00am. You can pre-book parking up to two weeks in advance. Please note a 10% service fee applies to each transaction.

Public Transport Options
Thinking of leaving your car at home and traveling to Dublin by public transport? We are conveniently located close to both Connolly Station and Heuston Station which link Dublin City with the rest of Ireland. If you decide to travel by public transport, the LUAS Red Line stops directly outside the hotel (Spencer Dock stop) and we are only 10 minutes’ walk from Connolly Station train
The LUAS red line stops directly outside the Hotel with the LUAS arriving approximately every 10 mins during peak times. There are two main lines for the LUAS, the red line and the green line. More details on the Luas timetable and journey are available on the LUAS website.
The Samuel Hotel is located 10 minutes walk from Connolly Station linking Dublin City Centre to various parts of the Dublin suburbs, including Malahide, Clontarf and Howth. You can also travel to various countryside locations, such as Sligo, Longford and Belfast.
Our hotel can be reached from Heuston Station very easily by taking the LUAS red line directly from the station to Spencer Dock Luas stop, which is located directly outside the Hotel.

Directions To/From Dublin Airport
Taxis are available from outside both terminal 1 and 2, although may be limited during peak travel times. The journey time is approximately 25 – 30 minutes and you can expect to pay between €30.00 – €35.00.
Please be aware an extra charge of €10 is applicable between 6.00am and 10.00am heading towards Dublin city Monday to Friday if your journey is via the Port Tunnel and the extra charge when you travel from the city towards Dublin Airport between 4.00pm and 7.00pm Monday to Friday.
Outside of these times the toll is €3 each way. Alternative routes that avoid the port tunnel are available
Both the Airlink 747 and 757 services stop outside the Convention Centre Dublin, which is a 3-minute walk from the hotel.
Buses depart every 10-20 minutes, journeys cost €12.00 return or €7.00 one way and take approximately 25 minutes. Please note journey times may vary during rush hour.
